Earning points is very easy. Simply download our app, register and activate your MyMcDonald’s Rewards account, and then present your MyMcDonald’s Rewards code every time you visit, or get points automatically when you order in the app.

For every dollar you spend on eligible purchases, you will receive 100 points. You can use your points to redeem FREE rewards like any size Premium Roast Coffee or a Vanilla Cone starting at 2,000 points!

Unfortunately, nothing can last forever. Any unredeemed points will automatically expire 6 months after they are earned. Plenty of time to save up for rewards.

Start by opening the McDonald’s app and selecting Rewards. Choose the item you want to redeem. From there, you can redeem your reward by:

1) Mobile ordering - Select “Add to Mobile Order”, then proceed with mobile ordering as usual.

2) Drive-Thru - Select “Use at Restaurant”, then provide your code before ordering at the Drive-Thru.

3) Kiosk - Select “Use at Restaurant”, then scan your code before ordering at the Kiosk.

4) Front Counter - Select “Use at Restaurant”, then provide your code to the Crew at the Front Counter before ordering.

At this time, you cannot redeem a reward from a delivery order.

Yes! You earn points on every menu item you purchase, so if you’re redeeming a reward and ordering more food in addition to that, you will still earn 100 points for every dollar you spend.*

At this time, you can only redeem 1 reward per transaction.

At this time, you can only redeem either 1 offer or 1 reward per transaction.

There are no changes to the on-cup McCafé Rewards sticker program at this time. That said, we are currently testing removing the on-cup McCafé Rewards stickers in Manitoba and selected areas of Northwestern Ontario (Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden). These areas were part of our test for the new MyMcDonald’s Rewards program. We’ll keep our guests informed about any other changes we make in the future.

If you’re enjoying an order and suddenly realize that you never provided your code, no worries! Please refer to the Contact Us section in the app or visit www.mcdonalds.ca. Please include the following information within the comments section, so we are best able to assist you: day/time, store number, order number, total transaction amount and order and pick up points. This will help ensure we have enough information to help.

You earn points on every dollar spent on qualifying purchases. That includes offers in the app and promotions.

You will not earn points on the following:

(a)     Taxes, bag, cups and bottle fees, and other surcharges or fees.

(b)     McDonald’s Card purchases or loading money on a McDonald’s Card (but when you use a McDonald’s Card to make a qualifying purchase you will accrue points)

(c)     Delivery orders

We’re sorry about your phone! Contact your service provider and once you have a new phone, your MyMcDonald’s Rewards should still be waiting for you when you log in to the McDonald's app in the participating area.

Starting in August, McCafé Rewards stickers & cards will no longer be available on hot beverage cups. Completed McCafe Rewards cards can be redeemed at participating restaurants in Canada until December 31st, 2023.
