Hazel was promoted to Vice President, Operations South in September 2021. She is responsible for all restaurants and franchising operations in the Southern region of the UK and Ireland.
Hazel joined McDonald’s in 2009 and held roles in Corporate and US Finance, and US Operations. During her time in the US business, Hazel also worked part-time in the restaurant as Crew. She also completed our McDonald’s leadership program, the Accelerated Operations Program.
In 2019, Hazel transitioned into Strategy and Alignment of our 81 International Developmental Licensee Markets (IDLM) in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Middle East and Africa, where she was responsible for strategy, planning, and functional alignment within the leadership team, business units and markets, while leading several initiatives focused on business growth.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Hazel worked in management consulting in KPMG and Accenture for clients in the US, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Hazel favourite McDonald’s menu items are Chicken McNuggets, Fries and Apple Pie.
